Residence 1910 in Justice Precinct 1, Shackelford County, Texas. He married Rebecca Ellen Simmons. They were married on 19 May 1917 in Tucumcari, , New Mexico. Fatally injured in truck accident on Highway 81 in Abbott, Texas. He was dead on arrival to hospital.
