Ruby Agnes Scoggins Ruby Agnes Scoggins, age 87, passed from this life on Thursday October 4, 2007 at Hospice House of Odessa. She was born May 7, 1920 in Wichita Falls, TX to Ed and Emily (Hodges) Teague. Ruby married Earl Scoggins on July 12, 1942 in Tioga, TX and became a homemaker and loving mother to three children. As her family grew, she became grandmother to five precious grandchildren, then great-grandchildren. Ruby was very independent and liked taking care of herself and others. She was a very devout Christian woman who worshiped with the West University Church of Christ congregation. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ed and Emily Teague; her husband: Earl Scoggins; and one son: Kenneth Scoggins. Those left to cherish her memory include one son: Richard Scoggins and wife Linda of Andrews, TX; one daughter: Linda Harris and husband Jim of Odessa; a brother: Obie Teague of Thackerville, OK; three sisters: Odessa Woods of Happy, TX, Zada Smith of Amarillo, TX, and Pauline Motl of San Angelo, TX; five grandchildren: Christie Huff Coleman and husband Trinity of Odessa, Kimberley Badgwell and husband Justin of PA, Darren Scoggins and David Scoggins both of Andrews, TX, and Daryl Scoggins of Odessa; six great-grandchildren: Stephanie Tidmore, Alexandrea Badgwell, Keziah Badgwell, Krista Scoggins, Cassandra Scoggins, and Brittany Coleman; two great-great granddaughters: McKenzie and McKaylie; and special friend: Saundra Turner. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Acres West Funeral Chapel with Brother Roy Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery
