Bio

Goldie Beatrice Aaron, 83, of Amarillo died Tuesday, June 26, 2007. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Happy Church of Christ in Happy with Rick Bloodworth officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 S. Bell St. Mrs. Aaron was born April 21, 1924, in Springgrove and moved to Happy in 1991. She was a homemaker and a Church of Christ member. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Aaron; and a son, Harold Dean Turman. Survivors include four sisters, Pauline Motl of San Angelo, Odessa Wood of Happy, Zada Smith of Amarillo and Ruby Scoggins of Odessa; a brother, Obie Lee Teague of Thackerville, Okla.; several grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
