Bio

Nannie Belle Parks was one of six children and one of two girls born to James Henry Parks and wife Irina (née Newman) of Blount County, Alabama arriving on January 14, 1878. At the age of 17, she married George David Gilbreth on April 14, 1895. She gave to him at least eight children, but only six of these lived passed infancy. She was the mother to: Adron Henry, Gladys Irene, Lucien, Odie, Ollie Milton, Oscar Carl and Sylvia Floyd Gilbreth.
