Born in Rochester Mills, Pa - he came with his parents to Nebraska in 1887. He was a prominent farmer and rancher. He had also been active in civil affairs. He was the past President for the Half Century Club for early settlers. In 1957 he was named honorary President of Oregon Trail Days in Gering, Nebraska. Survivors: His wife Daughters: Goldie Wilson Hazel Dutton Sons: Marvin & Myron Ewing Brothers: John of Gering and Carl of Mitchell Sisters: Mrs. Lena Russell of Nampa, Idaho Mrs. Austin Green of Burbank, CA Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery in Gering
