Dallas Morning News - May 3, 1960 - Mrs. R. L. Trammell, 77, a Dallas resident for the last 16 years, died Monday at her home at 4602 Fairmount after a long illness. She was born in Eden, Ala. and came to Texas in 1903. The Trammells were married in Alabama in 1900. Mrs. Trammell was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband; three sons, Alton and Calvin of Dallas, and Choice of McKinney; Mrs. Febalee Pruitt of Dallas, Mrs. Pathie Williamson of Dallas, and Mrs. Wanda Lepeard of Irving; Gaitis Kilgore of Eden, Ala.; 15 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday in the Restland Memorial Chapel at Greenville and Valley View Lane. The Rev. M. E. McGlamery will officiate. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bill Mullenhouse, Cleburne Marshall, Billy Jack Pruitt, Charles Lepeard, Richard Pettigrew, John Kimbrough, Bobby Mayfield, and Kenneth Starnes.
