Bio
Agnes was barely nine years old when her mother died When the family emigrated to America they went to Kirkland Ohio where her father met a widow Mary Ann Weston. They then moved to Nauvoo, Illinois where they lived for two years. Then they traveled to New Diggins, Wisconsin in the summer of 1846. At the age of 17 she married Jonathon Teasdale on November 9 1848. Later the young couple moved to Coon Branch where their first child was born. When her father left for Utah Agnes stayed in Coon Branch. In 1851 she and her family moved to Dubuque County, Iowa and later to Stanton Missouri. When Jonathon died in 1870 the 38 year old widow was left with six young children whom she raised. In 1888 she visited her sister Mary Ann Maughan Atkin, whom she had not seen in nearly forty years, in Tooele Utah Her later years were spent at the home of her daughter Mrs Ester Stamler of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
