Services for Frank Joe Matous, 82, of Temple will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church in Temple with the Rev. Pat Dietrich officiating. Burial will be in Seaton Cemetery. Mr. Matous died Sunday, Feb. 21, in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 19, 1927, in Ocker to William Matous and Henrietta Cabla Matous. He graduated from Temple High School. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He married Bernice Daude on July 11, 1956. He worked for Empire Seed, Temple Cotton Compress and retired as manager of Tejas Warehouse System. He was a member of First Lutheran Church.
