VICTORIA - Jane Esterak, 64, of Victoria, passed Saturday, March 17, 2007. She was born Apr. 29, 1942 to the late Hoy and Ida Irene Leggett Atkinson. Jane, as everyone knew her, was employed by the City of Victoria in the water department as a secretary for several years and more recently at Alcoa as a skilled service helper. She is survived by: her husband, Kenneth W. Esterak of Victoria; daughter Machele Torres and husband Eddie of Austin; son Harlan H. Henrichson and wife Shannon of Bullard; stepdaughter Debbie Pilsner of Victoria; brothers Don Atkinson and wife Doreen of Victoria, Fred Atkinson and wife Sharon of Pencil Bluff, Ark.., Jasper Atkinson and wife Linda of Robstown, and James Atkinson and wife Virginia of San Angelo; her mother- and father-in-law Miles and Nita Esterak of Victoria; brother-in-law Rod Esterak and wife Anna of Alexandria, La.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memory Gardens Cemetery, the Rev. Gene Rice officiating. Pallbearers will be Ivan Garcia, Enrique Perez, Aaron Pozzi, Kevin Karnei, Rodney Esterak and Tracy Foerester. Donations may be made to the Shrine Crippled Children. All arrangements are under the direction of Rosewood Funeral Chapels, Victoria, 361-573-4546.
