Bio

Son of Hoy L. and Ida Irene Leggett Atkinson. He married Sharon Diane Cook on 10 Sep 1966 in Mena, Polk Co., Arkansas. Fred is preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife; Sharon Atkinson; a sister, Natala Esterak; and one brother, Jasper Atkinson. Fred is survived by his son, Matthew Atkinson; two brothers and three sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Graveside service February 21, 2022 Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, Arkansas.
