Bio

At age 17 she emigrated to Utah with her family by overland wagon train in the Isaac Bullock Company. They left from Kanesville, Iowa (present day Council Bluffs) and arrived in Salt Lake City on 3 October 1852. On 13 April 1854 in Lehi, Utah she married Oscar Tyler, son of John Tyler and Sarah Reed Reaville. Oscar and Harriet were the parents of 8 known children: Abraham, Harriet Virginia, Sarah Amanda, Frank Newton, Martin Lafayette, Newel Snow, Oscar, Jr., and Orson Fernando.
