LIPAN - Eloyse Smith, 95, a homemaker, died Sunday, September 21, 1997, at a Weatherford nursing home. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Lipan. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Wiley Chapel in Lipan. Eloyse Smith was born May 31, 1902, in Lipan. She helped her husband operate Smith Funeral Home in Lipan from 1939 to 1968. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Smith, a son, Lawrence Smith Jr. and a grandson, Larry Smith. Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Grace Smith of Lipan; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Wiley Chapel Lipan, (254) 646-2255 .
