Parents: William annd Bertha York LIPAN - Lawrence C. Smith of Lipan, a retired funeral director, died Friday at a Weatherford hospital. He was 89. Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Lipan. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan. Martin's Funeral Home in Lipan is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Smith was born in Hobart, Oklahoma and had lived in Lipan most of his life. He was owner and operator of Smith Funeral Home, now Martin's Funeral Home in Lipan. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lipan. Survivors: Wife, Eloyse Smith of Lipan; son, Bill Smith of Lipan; two sisters, Florence Williams of Hurst and Ethyl Lankston of Lipan; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
