LUFKIN - Graveside services for Maxine Davidson, 84, Lufkin, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Garden of Memories Memorial Park under direction of Gipson Funeral Home, Lufkin. Mrs. Davidson died Dec. 23, 2006, in a local nursing home. She was born Sept. 22, 1922, in Etoile to the late Ben and Bertie Atkinson Mooney. She was a homemaker and member of Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Davidson, and sister, Mattie Cherry. Survivors include brothers, Garvin Mooney, Palestine, and Gerald Mooney, Evadale; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Published in the Tyler Morning Telegraph on 12/24/2006.
