Bio

Son of Anton David and Rosie Cmerek. Herald Coaster, March 7, 1963: Funeral services for Louis J. David, 51, were held from the Triska Chapel in Rosenberg at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, followed by Requiem Mass at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10 a.m., with Rev. J.J. Tydlacka officiating. Mr. David was born in Granger but was a long-time resident of the Rosenberg Community. He passed away suddenly at his home after a heart attack. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Agnes David of Rosenberg; one son, Jerry David of Longview; one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Vasek of Rosenberg; two grandchildren; two brothers, Rudy and Charlie David of Rosenberg; and a half brother, Louis Wentrcek of Rosenberg. Interment was made in the West Garden of Gethsemane, with the Triska Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Johnnie Hajdik, Clarence Krejci, Louis Zdunkewicz, Alfonse David, Alvin Schultze, and Emil Cmerek.
