Funeral services for Essie Mae THOMAS, 85, of Rudy, Ark., were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. Burial was in Mt. McCurry in Rudy, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Mrs. THOMAS died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, in Rudy. Survivors include two daughters, Norma and Sharon; five sons, Leon, Raymond, Gary, Cletus and Travis; three sisters, Edna, Mildred and Carol; three brothers, James, Marshall and Rollie; 19 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jospeh J. RINKER and Mamie (JENNINGS) RINKER and also one daughter Joann FLOWERS and her husband Richard THOMAS
