Services 2 p.m. Monday (John M. Ireland, Moore). Published in The Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Saturday, December 17, 2016, Page 7A. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mildred N. Johnson, of OKC, passed away December 14, 2016. She was born May 15, 1927 to Joseph and Mamie (Jennings) Rinker in Anadarko, Ok. Mildred was a long-time member of the 1st Assembly of God Church in Chandler, OK. Since moving to OKC, she has attended Northwest Christian Church where she enjoyed her church friends. Mildred was a homemaker most of her life. She was known for her Apple Dapple Cake and Cinnamon Rolls. She enjoyed doing artwork, including painting, drawing, and making flowers out of paper. Mildred also enjoyed nature and birdwatching. She had a fabulous sense of humor and loved making people laugh. She was always clowning around. When she would make the clothes for their family reunion fashion show, you would never know what to expect. Mildred loved watching Christian Television, especially the 700 Club. She loved her children and grandchildren with a passion and her greatest joy was spending time with them! She is survived by her children, Dale Johnson and wife Stefana "Taffy", Barbara Lankford, Deborah Coffey and husband Johnny, Rick Johnson and wife Janet, and Ronnie Johnson and wife Brenda; 10 grandchildren, David Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson and wife Rebecca, Jennifer Wilson, Lisa Johnson, Tanya Ball, Christina Earnhardt and husband Richard, Michelle Barnett, Dana Isbell, Leah Kelley and husband Sean, and Roger Johnson and wife Sarah; 12 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; 2 brothers, Rollie Rinker and wife Ann and James Rinker and wife Sylvia; 1 sister, Carol Hunter;a nd a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members. She was preceded by her parents; and husband Walter Johnson; 7 brothers and sisters; and son-in-law, Jack Lankford. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, December 19, 2016 at John Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, Moore, OK. Interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
