Mrs. Willie (Julia) Stojanik, 86, of West died August 3 at a Waco hospital. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. August 4 at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. August 5 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, with Msgr. B.J. Zientek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mrs. Stojanik was born April 15, 1899 at Ellinger. She had been a resident of West for the last 47 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society. She also was a member of KJZT Society 11. She was married to Willie Stojanik who died November 12, 1982. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Martha) Prnka of West; a brother, John Dirba of Sealy; six sisters, Mrs. John (Emma) Dvorak of West, Mrs. Willie (Emilie) Dvorak of Ross, Mrs. Louis (Mary) Vykukal and Mrs. Louis (Frances) Stazena, both of Wharton, Mrs. Victor (Sophie) Novosad of Lyons and Mrs. Joe (Louise) Drabek of Needville; five granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Willie Dvorak, Jr., George Polansky, Larry Ondrej, Joe A. Dvorak, George Prnka and Johnnie Pavlasek.
