The Bonham Daily Favorite Bonham, Texas Thursday, 19 Jul 1951, Page Six Mrs. Parlee Cash, Long Time Texas Resident, Dies Final Rites Held Here Today Mrs. Parlee Cash, 95, who had made her home in Texas for the past 74 years, passed away Wednesday at 3:50 p.m. at a rest home in Greenville. Mrs. Cash had made her home in Bonham and Greenville for the past several years. Born September 18, 1855 in Clark County, Arkansas, Mrs. Cash came to Texas at the age of 21. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services were held today at 3 p.m. at Wise Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leon Martin, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, officiaing. Rev. J. S. Starr assisted. Interment was in Willow Wild Cemetery, with Wise in charge. Grandsons were pallbearers. Surviving are three sons, John R. Hughes, Clark County, Ark.; Jim Hughes, Friendship, Ark.; William Hughes, Sherman; three daughters, Mrs. J. E. Dewoody, Bonham; Mrs. T. D. Pennington, Greenville; Mrs. Nora Hughes, Terrell; three sisters, Mrs. Rosie Rowell, and Mrs. Florence Davis of Hot Springs, Ark.; Mrs. Tom Walker, Boswell, Okla.; 54 grandchildren.
