Son of Conrad & Emma (Fangmeier) Paul. In June of 1942 he entered the United States Army and served as a communications specialist in the Pacific Theater and was honorably discharged in November of 1945. After the service he was united in marriage to Mildred Ewald on February 19th 1950 and farmed near Jansen for eight years. He then owned and operated Paul's Transfer, a livestock trucking business, until he moved to Pickrell to own and operate Paul's feed Service. He was a member of Southwood Lutheran Church in Lincoln and the American Legion in Plymouth, NE. Harry is survived by, Mildred, his wife of 60 years. His children, two daughters; Kathy Goddard and her husband Mel of Lincoln, Kris Paul and Patrick Roberge of Austin, Texas, and a son; Tim Paul of Independence, Missouri. Two grandchildren; Katelin and Kara Goddard of Lincoln; two brothers; Otto of Deshler, and Louis of Beatrice, five sisters; Edna Kroeger of Oklahoma City, Elda Guthrie of Santa Fe, Elaine Ackerman of Beatrice, LaVerna Kokes of Lincoln, and Margret Morrow of Beatrice, nieces and nephews. Harry is preceded in death by sister, Matilda Schroder and brother, Elmer Paul
