Bio

Richard "Dick" Hamilton, 85, of Randlett, died Saturday, January 12, 1991 at home. He was born July 16, 1905 in Price, Utah to James Alma and Susan Van Wagoner Hamilton. He married Katherine Warr July 16, 1929 in Bennett, Utah. When very young he lived at the wells draw in Wells Draw near Nine Mile Canyon. He was a government trapper for 14 years and mined gilsonite at the Parriett Mine for 8 years. He loved the outdoors and hunting and fishing. He played the guitar and enjoyed country and western music as well as Hawaiian music. He is survived by his wife, Katherine of Randlett; and numerous nieces and nephews. Burial in the Myton Cemetery. Uintah Basin Standard (UT) January 16, 1991
