Bio

Mrs. Frank L. Newman, 915 South A. St., Arkansas City, Kas., died at Memorial Hospital there on Saturday, Jan. 4. Funeral services were at the Central Christian Church on Tuesday and burial was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery at Arkansas City. Mrs. Newman was Miss Beulah Mae Moore, daughter of Benjamin F. and Minnie Rebecca Schindorff Moore. She was born on March 31, 1887, at East Lynne. On June 7, 1907, she was married to Frank Little Newman at Harrisonville. Mrs. Newman was a member of the Central Christian Church, where she was active in various church organizations and the Sunday school, the L.A. of B of L.F. and E. order of Eastern Star and the White Shrine of Jerusalem. Survivors are her husband of the home, two sons, Forest Newman, Sheridan: Tex., and Wilbur Newman, Texas City. Tex., three daughters, Mrs. Cleo Kness, Mrs. Lou Belle Swafford, Derby, and Mrs. Bernadine Corlett, Arkansas City; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Mrs. E. C.
