A native of Cravens, La., she lived in Orange many years. Survivors include daughters, Marie Curl of Nederland and Edith Strother LeBlanc of Beaumont; sisters, Jewel Bishop of Orange, Oma White of DeRidder , La., Annie Brinkman of Kirbyville and Lois Woods of Houston; brother, Carl James of Tomball; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren
