Bio
Mrs. Opal Lee Fann, 65, died suddenly at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at her home near Warren. Mrs. Fann was born and reared in Shelby County and had made her home in Warren for the past 24 years. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Warren. Survivors include her husband, Lester Fann of Warren; two daughters, Mrs. John B. Cowart of Colmesneil, Mrs. Oswald Jordan of Spurger; three sons, James H. Read of Woodville, Harold Read of Spurger, Altie Read of Austin; three brothers, Oscar Peace of Colmesneil, Ollie Peace of San Augustine; Otis Peace of Bossier City, Louisiana; one sister, Mrs. Milton Parker of Shelby County; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be announced by Edward Funeral Home. Mother was Sarah E Wilson Peace
