Bio

According to a village map dated 1855, George lived on Pittsfield Road in West Stockbridge. From the source The Tyler Genealogy: The Descendants of the Branford, Connecticut Line of Roger Tyler by Willard I. Tyler Brigham & Calvin Cedric Tyler, Vol. III (1976): "Mr. Tyler was a member of the firm Tyler and Reese, contractors and builders. Among other buildings, they designed and built the old Methodist Episcopal Church at West Stockbridge."
