Bio

Funeral services for Mr. Charlie Alton Johnson were Saturday, February 28, 2009, in the Chapel of Smart & Son Funeral Home in Leesville, Revs. L.E. Roberts and Louis Magee Officiated. Burial followed in Castor Cemetery in Leesville. Mr. Johnson, 55, passed away in his residence on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Murray and Dezie Perkins Johnson. Survivors include his two daughters, Penny and Amber; and one grandaughter. Along with his brothers, Walton Johnson of Leesville and Herman Johnson of Cleveland, Texas; and two sisters, Mrs. Wanda Cooley and Mrs. Janie Wingate, both of Leesville. Services were under the direction of Smart & Son.
