Bio

Anna Catherine Marusak, 54, died Friday, March 4, 2004, at the Claystone Healthcare Center in Ennis. She was born Nov. 30, 1949 in Ennis, the daughter of Joseph and Agnes Zmolik Marusak. She spent her early years in Ennis where she attended St. John School. She then lived at Educare Center in Corsicana surrounded by a loving family of friends and her special friend, Robert. Anna loved all kinds of music, especially Elvis, the Dallas Cowboys and family gatherings. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and KJZT. She is survived by 5 brothers and their wives, Joe and Ella Marusak, Walter and Mary Alice Marusak, Alex and Nancy Marusak all of Ennis, Leonard and Denice Marusak of Ranger, George and Mary K. Marusak of Georgetown; 5 sisters, Sister Agnes Marie of San Antonio, Agnes and Ed Prachyl of Richardson, Helen Mikel of Garland, Mary and Marty Gagen of Orlando, FL, Marcy and Bill Krieger of Ennis; a brother-in-law, Norbert Blazek of Dallas; Sister-in-law, Maureen Milan-Marusak of Ennis; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Irene Marusak and Pauline Blazek and brother, David. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Fred Caldwell as celebrant. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Keever Chapel. Interment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
