Mrs. Alfons (Rosalie) Girard Cinek, age 62, of West, died Sunday, Dec. 4 at West Rest Haven. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev. B.J. Zientek as celebrant. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alfred Rauschuber, Eugene Dolezal, Robert He3ssel, Leo Sulak, Dennis Girard and John Pustejovsky. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Cinek was born May 22, 1921, in West and lived in the West area most of her life. She lived for four years in Houston, where she was employed as a welder on the Liberty ships during World War II. She worked for Lorch Manufacturing Co. in West for 20 years and the Heart of Texas Speedway for 20 years. Mrs. Cinek was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and KJZT Society No. 11. She was married to Alfons Cinek in 1946 in West. Survivors include her husband of West; two sons, Alfons Cinek, II and Frank Cinek, both of West; two daughters, Veronica Houston of Cedar Hill and Patricia Bezdek of Dallas; her mother, Rosie Girard of West; two brothers, Dan Girard of Canyon Lake and Rudolph Girard of Mayfield, Ky.; three sisters, Marguerite Rauschuber, Lucille Hessel and Evelyn Gajdosik, all of West; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
