Bio

Patricia Ann Bezdek, age 70, of Dallas, formerly of West, passed away Tuesday evening, January 25, 2022, at her residence. Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Timothy Vaverek as celebrant, assisted by Deacon Ronnie Sykora. Patricia was born July 8, 1951, in Waco, the daughter of the late Rosalie (Girard) and Alfons Cinek Sr. She was a 1970 graduate of West High School and attended Navarro Junior College in Corsicana. On April 15, 1972, she was united in marriage to Michael Bezdek in West. She worked for Clinical Pathology Labs in Dallas for several years. Patricia enjoyed visiting with her many friends, watching all the birds around her property, and cooking. She loved spending time with her family, especially playing with her grandson. Survivors include her beloved husband of 49 years, Michael Bezdek of Dallas; a daughter, Rebecca Westenhoefer and her husband Kurt of Sachse; a son, Mike Bezdek Jr. and his spouse Adelia Williams of Ben Franklin; her grandson, Evan Westenhoefer; a sister, Veronica Houston and her husband Tony; two brothers, Alfons Cinek II and Frank Cinek and his wife Jeanette; her dog, Diesel; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
