August Vrana's Funeral To Be Held Friday Funeral services for Mr. August Vrana will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, at the Abbott Catholic Church, Father W. Pechal officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, West. Rosary was recited at 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold's Chapel, West. Mr. Vrana was born on March 22, 1890 and died on Wednesday, July 17, at 5:45 a.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.H. McCoy, Jr. in Dallas. Mr. Vrana was born in Flatonia and had lived in the community for 35 years. He was a farmer. He is survived by a son, Edwin of West; three daughters, Mrs. Edmond Kaska, Mrs. Preston Ray, and Mrs. McCoy, all of Dallas; and nine grandchildren.
