Former West Man Dies In Calif.; To Be Buried Here Relatives of Frank Vanzura, 37, received word here on Wednesday informing of his death at Oakland, California on that date. No further details were learned immediately, however, arrangements were made for conducting funeral services here pending the arrival of the body. Deceased formerly resided in West, leaving this city when he was about 21 years of age. He worked in Oklahoma a few years before going to Oakland, Calif., where he resided at the time of his death. Mr. Vanzura is a brother of Ben J., Walter and Rudolph Vanzura of this city. Vanzura, 37, who died in a hospital at Oakland, California last Wednesday, was buried here on Monday at the Catholic cemetery, services having been conducted at the Catholic church, Rev. E.J. Polcak officiating. Mr. Vanzura's death was attributed to a fall from a third-story window at Oakland on June 2nd, death coming the following day. Relatives here expect additional information pending an inquest which is being held. Deceased is a former West resident. For the past 8 years he had been employed in the ship building industry in California. Surviving are three brothers, Ben J., Walter and Rudolf Vanzura, all of West; two sisters, Mrs. Vinc Sula of West and Mrs. Frances Pustejovsky of Cuero, Texas.
