Bio

Phillip C. Sulak, age 60 of Bellmead, passed away Saturday, December 25, 1993 in Providence Hospital. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead with Rev. Lonnie Urban as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West with full military rites. Mr. Sulak was born July 3, 1933 near West and had lived in Bellmead for the past 29 years. He was employed with General Tire Co. for 20 years and the Texas Farm Bureau for 17 years. Mr. Sulak served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 to 1961. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead. Survivors include his wife, Elvia Sulak of Bellmead; one son, Phillip C. Sulak, Jr., of Bryan; two daughters, Valerie J. Parsons of Waco and Dolores F. Bartley of Louisville, Kentucky; his mother, Barbara Sulak of Elm Mott; two brothers, Martin Sulak of Bellmead and Alois Sulak of Arlington; five sisters, Theresa Svehlak of Ennis, Barbara LaGesse, Beatrice Yale, Rose Marie Jezek and Veronica Craven all of Arlington, and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Martin Sulak, Alois Sulak, Phillip LaGesse, Pat Craven, Fenk Jezek, Joe Svehlak, Ed Yale, Rudolph Martinez, Gilbert Perez, Freddie Ochoa, Jerry Herrera and Buddy Davis.
