Bio
Margaret L. Stanislav, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at her residence in Bulverde at the age of 82. She was born March 7, 1922 in West, TX to August and Millie Peters. She married Alfred Fritz Stanislav on July 23, 1945 in West, TX. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1997. Mrs. Stanislav was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Honey Creek and was an active member of the Bulverde Senior Center. Survivors include her daughter, Susan Herr and husband Joey of San Antonio, TX; son, Thomas J. Stanislav and wife Sandra, Johnie of Bastrop, TX; two grandchildren, Nicholas Stanislav and wife Virginia, Lauren Herr Purcell and husband Jason; two brothers-in-law, Joe R. Stanislav and wife Mildred of Waco, TX, Robert Stanislav and wife Barbara of West, TX; several nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited Friday, September 24, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 25, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Honey Creek with The Rev. James Janish, celebrant. Interment will follow at 4:00 P.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in West, TX. Published by San Antonio Express-News, San Antonio, Texas, on September 24, 2004.
