Bio

Irene Sembera Buried Saturday Irene Sembera, age 15, passed away in a Waco hospital at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13. Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Catholic Church in West, Father George Doskocil officiating. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Aderhold's Chapel. Miss Sembera had been in ill health for the past two months. She underwent a major operation in October. She was born in this community and at the time of her death was a freshman in West High School. Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Sembera, Rt. 2, West; three brothers, Emil, Alvin and Lawrence; one sister, Jaroline.
