Mary Roznovsky, age 88, of Waco, formerly of West and Penelope, passed away early Monday morning, June 4, 1990 at St. Elizabeth's Nursing Home in Waco. A rosary was recited and Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 6 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. Isidore Rozycki as Celebrant, assisted by Rev. Walter Matus. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mrs. Roznovsky was born March 25, 1902 in Mt. Calm, the daughter of Frank and Agnes Matus. She married Joe Roznovsky on November 14, 1927 in Penelope. She was a housewife and homemaker. She was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West and a member of the KJZT Society No. 35 Survivors include her husband, Joe Roznovsky of Waco; one son, Al Roznovsky of Waco; one daughter, Doris Pibil of Abbott; one brother, Ben Matus of Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Alvin Sykora, Ed Sykora, Pat Kallus, Gilbert Kallus, Marvin Matus and Joseph Lenart. Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
