Joe Retchek Dies; Rites Held Tuesday Joe J. Retchek, 81, of 1714 Proctor St., Waco, died at 2:25 p.m. Sunday in a local hospital after a long illness. Funeral mass was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West. Rev. George Doskocil was celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery in West. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Aderhold Chapel in West. Mr. Retchek was a native of Czechoslovakia and lived in West and in the Tours area most of his life. He was a retired farmer and had worked with the McLennan County Maintenance Department. He was a member of the KJT Lodge 31 in West. Survivors include three daughters, Miss Julia Rechek and Miss Christine Retchek, both of 1714 Proctor, Waco, and Mrs. Joe (Stacy) Sebik of 1828 North Thirteenth, Waco; two brothers, Frank Retchek and John Retchek, both of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Sebik of Abbott, Mrs. Mary Kapavik of West and Mrs. Frances Watson of Waco and one grandson.
