John Recek Dies Here on Friday John Recek, age 82, passed away at his home near West on Friday, January 19th. Funeral services were held here at the Catholic church at 3 p.m. Sunday, Rev. E.J. Polcak officiating. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery. Mr. Recek was born in Czechoslovakia, coming to the United States 45 years ago. He had been a resident of this community for many years. Surviving are 4 daughters, Mrs. Julius Pustejovsky, Mrs. Louis Kapavik, Mrs. Fr. Sebik, all of West, and Miss Frances Recek of Waco; 3 sons, Joe and Frank Recek of West and John J. Recek of Dallas.
