Georgia R. Seith Pavlicek, 80, of West died Tuesday, January 6, 2004, at a Hillsboro hospital. She was born November 16, 1923, in West, daughter of Joe and Lillian Jaska Seith, and attended Leggott and Alligator Creek schools and West High School. She worked as a seamstress for Lorch Manufacturing for 28 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption of West, West Fraternal, SPJST Lodge 66, KJZT Ludmila Society 11, and Catholic Daughters of America Court 829. She married James John Pavlicek, Sr. October 15, 1946, in West, and he preceded her in death on December 25, 1997. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Michelle Warren, on January 5, 1971; and one sister, Marie Dudik. Survivors include one son, James Pavlicek, Jr., and wife, Debbie, of West; two daughters, Dorothy Warren and husband, Bill, of West and Margaret (Margie) Nors and husband, Stephen, of Chalk Bluff; one brother, E. J. Seith of West; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Rosary was recited at 10 a.m. Friday, January 9, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10:15 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery in West.
