Bio

Jerry Kramolis, age 63, of Abbott, passed away early Friday morning, January 18, 2002 at Providence Health Center in Waco. A rosary will be recited at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:15 p.. Sunday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with the Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Kramolis was born on March 30, 1938 in West, the son of Bob and Antonia Kramolis. He attended school at Alligator Creek, West and Aquilla. He married Margaret Janda on September 3, 1958 in Waco. He worked for the Barber Shop in Elm Mott for over twenty years and in quality control for Hillcrest Carpet in Hillsboro. He also hads worked in quality control at Tymco in Waco for eleven years until his retirement in 1988. Jerry was a wonderful husband, father and a very much loved "PaPa." He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was a "great handyman and carpenter.: He was a member of Woodmen of the World Lodge #86 in Hillsboro and R.V.O.S. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. He is survived by his beloved wife of forty-three years, Margaret Kramolis of Abbott; two sons, Jerry Don Kramolis and wife Liz of Robinson and Gary Kramolis and special friend Kathy of West; two daughters, Linda Herrell and husband Charles of Abbott, and Brenda Kocurek and husband John of Whitney; two brothers, Daniel "Dean" Kramolis of Abbott and Bob Kramolis of Waco; three sisters, Helen Hromadka of West and Rosalie Kramolis and Barbara Matus, both of Elm Mott; five grandchildren, Jason Herrell and wife Shannon, Jennifer Herrell, Derek Kramolis, Erica Kramolis and Dylan Kramolis; and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Jason Herrell, Derek Kramolis, Randy Matus, Terry Kramolis, Robert Hutyra, David Janda, Sean Kostohryz and Paul Cepak. Honorary pallbearers will be3 Jennifer Herrell, Erica Kramolis, Dylan Kramolis, Kyle Kruger, Lauren Kruger, Timothy Kramolis, Russell Kramolis and Eric Kostohryz.
