Frank J. Kolenovsky, age 71, of 1117 Lewis Street in Bellmead, passed away early Thursday morning, June 2, 1988 at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco. A rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 3, 1988 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Angelo Bertini. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. June 4, 1988 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead with Rev. Angelo Bertini as Celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mr. Kolenovsky was born July 7, 1916 in McLennan County, near West, the son of Charlie and Annie Kolenovsky. He married Emily Kadlubar in Whitney on February 4, 1941. He worked for General Tire & Rubber Co. for 25 years before retiring in 1981. He worked as a volunteer at Geneva Hall in Elm Mott for 27 years. He was a member of SPJST Lodge No. 66, the Bellmead Council Knights of Columbus, and a charter member of the RVOS at Linden Hall. Mr. Kolenovsky was also a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead. Survivors include his wife, Emily Kolenovsky of Bellmead; one daughter, Mrs. Davie (Helen) Kocian of Route 1, Elm Mott; four sisters, Annie Garcia and Georgia Beran, both of Galveston, Rosie Zabojnik of Garland, and Helen Honza of Dallas; two grandchildren, Lori and Tim Kocian of Route 1, Elm Mott; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Donald Allen, Ed Traywick, Charlie Beran, Aubrey Zabojnik, Jr., Raymond Barton and Joe Kadlubar.
