Bio
Emily W. Kolenovsky, age 80, of Bellmead, passed away late Friday evening, January 7, 1994 at St. Elizabeth's Nursing Center in Waco. A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead, with Rev. Bernard C. Goertz as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mrs. Kolenovsky was born September 10, 1913 in West, the daughter of John and Mary Kadlubar. She married Frank J. Kolenovsky on February 4, 1941 in Whitney. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1988. They lived in Bellmead since 1954. She was a charter member of the S.P.J.S.T. Lodge No. 66 in Elm Mott. She was a member of the K.J.Z.T. Society No. 11 in West; the R.V.O.S.; and a member and volunteer for many years at Geneva Hall. She was also a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead. She also loved and was very well known for baking kolaches. She is survived by one daughter, Helen Kocian of Elm Mott; two sisters, Mary Svrcek of Northcrest and Frances Vielle of Mobile, Alabama; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Joe Kadlubar, Jerry Allen Aubrey Zabojnik, Charles Beran, Ed Traywick and Donald Allen. Aderhold Funeral Home in West was in charge of arrangements.
