Louis A. Karlik Rites Held Louis A. Karlik, 71, of 808 S. Marable in West died Thursday morning in West Rest Haven. Rosary was recited Friday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel at West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church at West, Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Karlik was born at West and had lived in the West area all his life. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and KJT Society 31 of West. He was a retired grocer. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Karlik of West; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Ed (Anne) Grimm of West and Mrs. Albin (Joyce) Petter of Waco; a brother, Joe F. Karlik of West; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Marak of West and Sister Evangelinta Karlik of Denison; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
