Mrs. Kallus Of West Dies Mrs. Louis (Sophie) Kallus, 85, of West died Tuesday morning in a West nursing home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church in West, Rev. William Benish as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at West. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kotch Chapel in West. Mrs. Kallus was born in Fayette County. She had lived in the Ross area most of her life before moving to West five years ago. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Her husband died Jan. 24, 1972. Survivors include a brother, Joe Hanzelka of Lacy-Lakeview; a sister, Mrs. Emilie Sulak of LaGrange; and several nieces and nephews.
