Louis Kallus, Of Ross, Dies; Rites Held Wed. Louis Kallus, 84, of Ross died Monday morning in a West nursing home. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem mass was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West with Rev. Geo. Doskocil as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Kallus was born in Fayette County and had lived in the West-Ross area for the past 70 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sophie Kalllus. Pallbearers were Ed Traywick, Willie B. Barton, Emil Pavlas, Rudy Barton, A.J. Gallia and Louis Jaska.
