Lucille Jezek, age 84 of West, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 5, 2000 at Providence Health Center in Waco. A rosary was recited at 4 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 4:15 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with the Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mrs. Jezek was born November 30, 1915 in Waco, the daughter of Frank and Annie Krizan. She married Anton Louis Jezek on November 26, 1941 in Waco. He preceded her in death on August 18, 1986. She was a homemaker and housewife. Lucille loved cooking, gardening and being with her family. She was a member of K.J.Z.T. Society No. 11 and St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She is survived by four daughters, Dorothy Feazle and her husband, Calvin of Houston, Pat Kakos of Wimberly, Janette Jezek of West and Shirley Wiley and her husband, Joe of McKinney; one brother, Fred Krizan of Waco; one sister, Nora Britton of Brenham; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Chris Wiley, Adam Wiley, Tommy Muska, Adolph Muska, Joe Wiley and Calvin Feazle. Aderhold Funeral Home in West was in charge of the arrangements.
