Mrs. Holacka, 88, Dies in Hospital; Rites Held Thurs. Mrs. Emil (Anna) Holacka, Sr., 88, of 304 Columbus died Tuesday night in the West hospital. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, Rev. George Doskocil was celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mrs. Holacka was born in Fayette County. She had lived in the West area for more than 70 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and the Altar Society of the church. She married Emil Holacka on Nov. 9, 1903 at West. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Emil Holacka, Jr., of Fort Worth, Willie Holacka of West and Raymond Holacka of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Krizan of Trinidad and Mrs. Helen Knapp of West; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Recktorik of Schulenburg, Mrs. Frank (Julia) Holacka and Mrs. Joe (Emma) Popp, both of West; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
