Wm. J. Hajek Of Ft. Worth Killed Funeral services for William John Hajek of Fort Worth were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Fort Worth. Monsignor Wolfe officiated. The interment was at St. Mary's Cemetery in West at 1 p.m. Monday. Rev. Geo. Doskocil officiated at the cemetery service. Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements in West. Mr. Hajek was en route to his farm near Cleburne when the head-on collision occurred about 7:15 p.m. last Friday, Oct. 8 near Burleson. David M. Davis, 19, of Odessa, a University of Texas student was also killed in the mishap. A passenger in Davis' car, Monty Lynn Harrell of Fort Worth, 19, also a University of Texas student, was critically injured. Mr. Hajek was traveling alone in the car. Mr. Hajek had lived in Fort Worth since 1945 and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was 44. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Amy Hajek of Fort Worth; four daughters, Linda Hajek, who is in a convent in North Africa, and Sharon, Eloise, and Ann Hajek, all of Fort Worth; one son, William Hajek, Jr., a University of Texas student; his father, Mr. Arnold Hajek, Sr., of Abbott; and three sisters, Mrs. Joann Holecek of Waco, Mrs. Florence Pustejovsky of Waco, and Mrs. Annie Kaska of Fort Worth; two brothers, Arnold Hajek, Jr., of Abbott and Albin Hajek of Bellmead.
