Ernest A. Gaiser, age 60, of West, died Saturday, July 25, in a Temple hospital. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Monday in the Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial was at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Monsignor George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Gaiser was born in 1920 in West. He married Evelyn Vanzura there in 1944. He served in the Army and the Air Force 24 years before retiring in 1964 as an Air Force staff sergeant. He was a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Gaiser of West; a daughter, Debbie Allen of West; three brothers, Henry L. Gaiser of Pasad3ena, John R. Gaiser and Willie J. Gaiser, both of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. O.R. (Eileen) Dennis of Jacksonville and Joyce Carpenter of Dallas; and two grandchildren.
