Bio
Henry Dvorak, age 62 of West, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 1, 1997 at his residence. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. October 3 at Aderhold Funeral Home in West by the Rev. Ed Karasek. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. October 4 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West with the Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mr. Dvorak was born July 9, 1935 in McLennan County, the son of Willie and Emilie Dvorak. He was a carpenter. He also worked for L.L. Sams for five years until he retired in 1995. He was a member of Knights of Columbus No. 2305 and St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. He is survived by his father, Willie Dvorak Sr. of West; four brothers, Frank Dvorak of Waco, John Dvorak of Denard, Arkansas, Joe Dvorak and Willie Dvorak, Jr., both of West; two sisters, Lucille Dudik of Hubbard and Agnes Rochen of Waller; and several nieces and nephews.
