Bio

Emma M. Dvorak, age 81, of West, passed away March 22, 1995, at her residence. A rosary was recited March 24 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Isidore Rozycki. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 25 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. Melvin Dornak as celebrant. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mrs. Dvorak was born August 14, 1913, in Sealy. She was the daughter of Frank and Agnes Dirba. She married John J. Dvorak on November 14, 1932, in Wallace. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1984. She was a housewife and homemaker. She was also a farmer for most of her life in Prairie Hill before retiring and moving to West in 1983. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She was also a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She was survived by one son, John L. Dvorak of Elm Mott; four daughters, Leona Gerik of Mart, Mary Young and Evelyn Kolar, both of West, and Georgie Hutchison of Riesel; one sister, Sophie Novosad of Sealy; 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were James Gerik, Eugene Gerik, Jr., Shelby Inee, Raymond Kolar, Dennis Kolar, Paul Hutchison, Jody Dvorak and John Dvorak, Jr. Aderhold Funeral Home in West was in charge of arrangements.
